Focus Entertainment and Tindalos Interactive have announced that Aliens: Dark Descent will be released on June 20, 2023 for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Aliens: Dark Descent takes the form of a real-time strategy game where players command a bunch of battle-hardened Colonial Marines as they attempt to contain a Xenomorph outbreak on Moon Lethe. Along the way, you’ll encounter iconic foes such as Facehuggers, Praetorians, Alien Queens and more, as well as rogue human commandos.
Infiltrate large open levels and annihilate enemies with your squad, dispatching orders strategically and intuitively at the touch of a button. Tread carefully, as your foes will adapt their tactics to your actions while hunting you down because death is permanent. Forge unique paths for survival, uncovering shortcuts, creating safe zones, and setting up motion trackers in a persistent world where your actions impact levels forever.
Players must strategically lead their squad and change up tactics every mission to adapt to your enemies’ own tactics, managing everything from health, resources and even the mental health of your squad.
Aliens: Dark Descent is due out on June 20, 2023 for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
