Alhaitham is a brand new 5-Star Dendro sword character coming to Gensin Impact in update 3.4. This Alhaitham Best Build Guide explains how to get Altheim Ascension Materials and his best weapons.
As with new characters, you’ll need the correct ascension materials, Talent books and Artifacts to get the best use out of Alhaitham. Thankfully most of Alhaitham’s materials you’ve probably collected since the release of Sumeru. Still, two material’s can only be unlocked with the introduction of a new desert location and a new boss.
Alhaitham Ascension Materials Level 1-90
Alhaitham’s Ascension Materials mostly come from Sumeru and its new desert location being added in 3.4. The Nagadus Emerald materials can be acquired from the Dendro Hypostasis, the Jadeplume Terrorshrooms and the new Wind Bitten Sandworm boss fights. You can also acquire them from the Childe Boss fight once a week. The Red Satins, Silks and Brocades are acquired from enemies. The Pseudo Stamens is acquired from the Wind Bitten Sandworm, and the Sand Grease Pupa is located in the new desert location unlocked in 3.4.

Alhaitham is a Dendo unit that benefits the most from his DPS damage and Elemental mastery thanks to his burst and skill allowing him to use Dendro blades to attack his enemies providing plenty of elemental damage.
Alhaitham Best Weapons
Alhaitham is a sword weilder and a DPS. He benefits from a high attack percentage and high critical rate/damage. As with all new characters, Alhaitham’s signature sword, Light of Foliar Sanction is his best weapon. The Primordial Jade Cutter and Mistsplitter Reforged are great 5-star substitutes. Unfortunately, when it comes to 4-star weapons, the only viable option is the Iron Sting
Alhaitham 5-Star Weapons
Light of Foliar Sanction
CRIT Rate is increased by 4%. After Normal Attacks deal Elemental DMG, the Foliar Incision effect will be obtained, increasing DMG dealt by Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills by 120% of Elemental Mastery. This effect will disappear after 28 DMG instances or 12s. You can obtain Foliar Incision once every 12s.
Primordial Jade Cutter
HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 1.2% of the wielder’s Max HP.
Mistsplitter Reforged
Gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for a character’s Elemental Type. At stacks 1/2/3, Elemental DMG is further increased by 8/16/28%. Each stack has an individual duration and are gotten through:
• Normal Attacks with Elemental DMG (duration 5s)
• Casting an Elemental Burst (duration 10s)
• Having less than 100% Energy (disappears at full Energy)
Alhaitham 4-Star Weapons
Iron Sting
Dealing Elemental DMG increases all DMG by 6% for 6s. Max 2 stacks. Can occur once every 1s
Alhaitham Best Artifact Stat Priority
Alhaitham benefits from two artifact set depending on how you want to build him. Those looking for a full DPS build should look at a 4-piece Deepwood Memories set. or those looking for powerful elemental reactions, the 4-piece Guilded Deams set.

- Time Piece: ATK% or Elemental Mastery
- Goblet: Dendro Damage% or Elemental Mastery

Alhaitham’s Talent books come from the Steeple of Ignorance Doman. Players can obtain the Admonition Stone Tablets Talent-level materials on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.
