11 bit studios’ Anomaly 2 will launch on PS4 on September 16, 2014. The tower offense strategy game is a sequel to Anomaly Warzone Earth and features the same game play mechanics of the original, alongside enhancements.
Anomaly 2 is set against the backdrop of an Earth invasion by alien machines in the year 2018 where the human race is under the threat of extinction. Players control a convoy of humans scavenging the planet for supplies while facing the threat of the alien invasion.
Typical strategy mechanics of squad building and tactical planning are the order of the day and there’s some cool upgrades from the original, including the ability to morph into mechs to overcome different combat scenarios.
