Resident Evil 4 Remake Will Not Remove The Island Location

Capcom has revealed during an interview with EDGE magazine that Resident Evil 4 Remake will not remove the game’s Island section, which is the final area of the game.

The development team split into three parts during the early stages of production, covering the village, castle and island sections individually before reforming and editing each others’ work.

Not only will the island be featured in the game (for those unaware, it was criticised as the weakest area of the game by reviews at the time of the original’s launch) but it will feature “a lot more” content than its original incarnation. However, they didn’t go into any further details.
