Hogwarts Legacy has been put through its paces by Digital Foundry, and it’s been revealed that the game’s Performance Mode hits 60 FPS more consistently on PS5 than the Xbox Series X version of the Wizarding World RPG.
Hogwarts Legacy was released for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S on February 10, 2023. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will arrive in April, followed by the Nintendo Switch edition in July. You can read our full review here.
The game topped the UK All Format Chart on its release, giving the Harry Potter franchise its biggest launch of all time in terms of video games. In addition, Hogwarts Legacy’s opening weekend was 56% bigger than Elden Ring in Europe.
Prior to its general release, Hogwarts Legacy’s Early Access period saw the game become the most-watched single-player game on Twitch.
