Sony Interactive Entertainment is reportedly starting to discontinue to PlayStation Plus retail cards as the format holder continues to roll out its revamped subscription service this week.
Third-party retailers are no longer restocking one-month, three-month, and 12-month PS Plus cards, and instead are now only stocking PlayStation Store gift cards.
In the US, Best Buy and Target are still listing PS Plus cards for purchase, although other major retails such as Walmart and Amazon no longer offer them. In the UK, Currys is still flogging PS Plus cards, but the likes of Amazon, GAME, Smyths and Argos now only stock PS Store gift cards.

Meanwhile, the PlayStation UK website now redirects users to a page featuring PS Store gift cards when you select the ‘buy now’ option for the PS Plus cards.
The new PS Plus will be rolling out in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on June 23. There are three tiers to choose from with the revamped service: PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, and PS Plus Premium.
