Battlefield 2042 is included in the PS Plus Essential March 2023 free games lineup, and it seems it’s done just the trick for the DICE-developed shooter, with the game enjoying a massive surge in players.
According to a report on TrueTrophies, Battlefield 2042 witnessed a 578% rise in players following its release on PS Plus. This means that the game now enjoys more players than the likes of Apex Legends, Destiny 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Overwatch 2, and Rocket League.
Battlefield 2042 also ranked fourth on PSNProfiles behind Hogwarts Legacy, Minecraft Dungeons, and Horizon Forbidden West.
