Capcom has started dishing out invites for the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta test, although the company noted that it may take a few hours for lucky participants to receive their invite.
A statement from Capcom reads as follows:
Codes for the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta have been sent out so please make sure to check your e-mails to see if you secured one of the limited spots. Because there may be a slight delay in receiving the e-mail, please check over the course of the next few hours.

The Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta will kick off on October 7, 2022 for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S, and includes Cross-Play across all three platforms. Players have access to a bunch of key modes during the test, including Ranked Match, Causal Match, Battle Hub Match, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Centre and Training Mode.
In addition, the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta will offer eight playable characters: Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken.
