Thea Trinidad, better known as WWE’s Zelina Vega, will feature in Capcom’s upcoming Street Fighter 6 as a commentator, the company has announced.
Zelina will join a robust list of guest commentators for the upcoming fighting game sequel, including esports veterans, competitive Street Fighter players, and celebrity fans of the franchise.
The WWE Superstar also happens to be quite the Street Fighter fan, as she performed in costume paying homage to SF6’s Juri during last night’s Royal Rumble.
I’ve been an avid gamer since I was a child and a huge fan of Street Fighter. I can still remember epic matches with my brother, and I would always beat him with my favourite character Vega. It’s surreal to now be a part of this amazing franchise and I am honoured and thankful for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Street Fighter 6 is pencilled in for a June 2, 2023 release for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
