The Deep End Games and 2124 Publishing have announced that Metroidvania-inspired dating romp Romancelvania is coming to PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on March 7, 2023. A Nintendo Switch version will follow at a later date, while the PS4 version has now been cancelled.
Amanda Gardner, Romancelvania’s Narrative Director, commented:
The world needs more love. And cheese-obsessed werewolves. And spicy, curvaceous pumpkin witches. With Romancelvania, The Deep End committed to realizing the most fleshed out, quirky, and irresistible characters for Drac to fall for or befriend. We’re constantly striving for players to feel invested in both the characters and the world in unexpected ways. You’ll be hard pressed to find a combo of laughs, bloodlust, and tenderness anywhere else.
Romancelvania sees players controlling Drac, the legendary vampire playboy as he battles and romances across Transylvania. His goal? Find the world’s most eligible monsters and move them into his party mansion, having been roped into starring in a “reality dating show” by none other than the Grim Reaper himself.
Romancelvania will be sinking its teeth into PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on March 7, 2023.
